Position Overview:
We are looking for a motivated and results-driven Venue Onboarding and Sales Team Lead to join our team in Mumbai. This role is critical to our growth strategy, as it involves onboarding new venues and driving sales. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, excellent communication skills, and a passion for the wedding industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Venue Onboarding: Oversee the onboarding process for new venues, ensuring they understand the benefits of joining Wedeazzy.com and are successfully listed on our platform.
  • Drive Sales: Identify and reach out to potential wedding venues in Mumbai, presenting the benefits of our platform and converting them into active listings.
  • Build Relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with venue owners and managers, providing them with support and guidance to maximize their presence on Wedeazzy.com.
  • Manage Sales Team: Lead and mentor a small team of sales representatives, setting targets, providing training, and monitoring performance to ensure sales goals are met.
  • Achieve Revenue Targets: Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets by securing new venue partnerships and upselling premium services.
  • Reporting: Provide regular updates on sales activities, pipeline status, and onboarding progress to senior management.
  • Market Analysis: Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to refine sales strategies and identify new opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of sales experience, preferably in the wedding, events, or hospitality industry.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and motivate a team to achieve sales targets.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build rapport and convey value effectively.
  • Sales Acumen: Strong negotiation skills and a results-oriented mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Knowledge of the Wedding Industry: Familiarity with the wedding and events industry in Mumbai, including an understanding of the needs and challenges of venues.
  • Tech Savvy: Comfortable using CRM tools and other sales technologies to manage the sales process and track performance.
  • Self-Motivated: Able to work independently and thrive in a commission-based role.
