#### Internship Overview
As a UI/UX Development Intern at Troy, you will work closely with our design and development teams to create intuitive user interfaces and enhance user experiences. In addition to design tasks, you will actively participate in usability testing at events, gathering valuable feedback to inform our product development. This role is perfect for someone eager to apply their design skills in a real-world setting while engaging directly with users.

#### Responsibilities
- Collaborate with designers and developers to create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups for our digital products.
- Assist in developing user-friendly interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Participate in usability testing during events, interacting with users to gather insights and feedback.
- Analyze user feedback and data to identify areas for improvement in the design and functionality.
- Contribute to creating user personas and journey maps to inform design decisions.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in UI/UX design and usability testing.

#### Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in UI/UX Design, Web Development, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
- Basic skills in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript; familiarity with frameworks like React or Angular is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for conducting usability testing.
- A passion for understanding user needs and enhancing user experiences.
- A portfolio showcasing relevant design and development work is highly desirable.
