Internship Description

Qualifications - UG: B.Tech/B.E. in Any Specialization 

Experience -  5 To 8 Years overall design experience. (1-2 Years in Design and R&D (3 years preferred). & 1-2 Years in Solar related field. (3 years preferred)

*Key Responsibilities:* 

1. Design and optimize mechanical components and systems for solar PV installations, including mounting structures, trackers, and racking systems. 

2. Conduct feasibility studies and perform technical analysis to evaluate the performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness of proposed designs. 

3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineers, project managers, and external vendors, to ensure seamless integration of mechanical systems with overall solar energy solutions. 

4. Utilize computer-aided design (CAD) software to create detailed drawings, models, and simulations of mechanical components and assemblies. 

5. Perform structural analysis and calculations to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements, such as ASCE 7, IBC, and local building codes.

6. Drive innovation and continuous improvement by staying abreast of emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in solar energy and mechanical engineering. 

7. Support product testing, validation, and certification efforts to verify the performance and durability of mechanical designs under various environmental conditions. 

8. Provide technical guidance and support to internal teams and external partners throughout the product development lifecycle, from concept to commercialization.

*Qualifications:* - Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field; Master's degree preferred. 

- Minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in mechanical design and engineering, with a focus on renewable energy systems, preferably in the solar industry. 

- Proficiency in CAD software, such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or Inventor, with a demonstrated ability to create detailed drawings and models. - Strong analytical skills and experience with structural analysis tools, such as ANSYS or similar finite element analysis (FEA) software. 

- Knowledge of relevant industry standards and codes governing solar PV system design and installation. 

- Excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and external stakeholders. 

- Proven track record of delivering high-quality mechanical designs on schedule and within budget constraints. 

- Passion for renewable energy and sustainability, with a desire to make a positive impact on the environment and society.
