About the Internship:
We are seeking passionate and detail-oriented QA Tester Interns to join our development team for an unpaid internship. You will be testing a live application built using Flutter (frontend) and Django (backend). This is an excellent opportunity for students or recent graduates to gain real-world experience in application testing and quality assurance practices.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Perform manual testing on the mobile and/or web application.
Identify, document, and track bugs, issues, and inconsistencies across the app.
Test UI/UX on different devices and screen sizes to ensure cross-platform compatibility.
Validate API responses and data consistency from the Django backend.
Collaborate with developers and designers to reproduce and resolve issues.
Participate in daily/weekly stand-ups and communicate testing progress.
Suggest improvements for performance, usability, and user experience.
Maintain test documentation, test cases, and bug reports.
Note: This is an unpaid internship, but your performance could open the door to future paid opportunities at BYTO.
Required Skills:
Basic understanding of mobile/web application testing.
Familiarity with Flutter applications from a user's perspective.
Understanding of REST APIs and ability to validate backend responses.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Attention to detail and a strong analytical mindset.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote setting.
Preferred Skills (Bonus):
Experience with tools like Postman, Jira/Trello, or TestRail.
Knowledge of basic SQL queries and API testing methods.
Exposure to version control systems like Git.
Familiarity with testing concepts such as regression, smoke, and integration testing.
