About the Role

We are looking for a Java Solutions Architect with 10+ years of strong hands-on development and solutioning experience. This is a critical role that combines deep technical expertise with team leadership. The ideal candidate should be capable of architecting scalable enterprise applications, leading a team of engineers, and delivering high-quality technical solutions in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide hands-on coding expertise to design, develop, and implement robust Java-based applications and services.
  • Architect scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions, ensuring alignment with business and technical requirements.
  • Lead and mentor a team of 4–5 engineers through the full software development lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, business analysts, and cross-functional teams to define architecture strategies and technical roadmaps.
  • Guide the team in adopting modern development best practices, including code reviews, CI/CD, and automated testing.
  • Navigate complex technical challenges and provide innovative, practical solutions.
  • Ensure high availability, performance, and scalability of deployed applications.
  • Utilize OpenShift for containerization, orchestration, and deployment of enterprise applications.

Must-Have Skills

  • 10+ years of experience in Java development and enterprise architecture.
  • Proven expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices architecture.
  • Hands-on coding is a must – ability to actively contribute to development.
  • Strong architectural design skills, including service design, scalability, and performance optimization.
  • Prior experience in leading a development team.
  • Proficiency with OpenShift (containerization, orchestration, deployment pipelines).
  • Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, DevOps practices, and cloud-native application development.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, communication, and leadership capabilities.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, or other container platforms.
  • Familiarity with modern frontend frameworks (Angular/React) is a plus.
  • Understanding of agile methodologies and tools like Jira and Confluence.
