Basic Technical Skills required:
1.) Knowledge of Government e-Marketplace (GEM) Platform: Experience or Basic knowledge about the GEM platform, government procurement processes, and how public sector e-marketplaces work is crucial.
2.) Understanding of Government Procurement Processes: Understanding of public procurement policies and practices, including bid management, vendor registration, purchase orders, contracts, and compliance tracking in a government setting.
3.) Client-Facing Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills to manage interactions with government officials, procurement officers, and other key stakeholders.
4.) Collaboration & Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively with technical teams, government officials, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth operations of the GEM platform.
5.) Good Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Professional Email Language etc.
6.) Experience: Experience in backend development or working in similar IT roles, even if at an entry-level, is beneficial.
