As a Business Development Manager for MICE, you will be responsible for identifying and acquiring new clients within the meetings, incentives, conferences, and events industry. Leveraging your industry knowledge, network, and sales expertise, you will promote our comprehensive range of MICE services and solutions. This role requires a strategic approach to business development, strong relationship-building skills, and a passion for exceeding targets in a dynamic and competitive environment

Responsibilities: 

  • Prospect and generate leads within the MICE industry, including corporate clients, event planners, and travel agencies.
  • Build and nurture relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders to understand their needs and objectives.
  • Develop and present tailored proposals and solutions that address client requirements and objectives.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including event planners, logistics, and operations, to ensure seamless execution of client projects.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing agreements, and terms to secure new business opportunities.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.
  • Attend industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to expand your network and promote our services.
  • Track sales performance, analyze data, and provide regular reports to management on progress against targets and KPIs.

Requirements: 

1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).

 2. Proven track record of success in B2B sales within the MICE industry. 

3. Strong network of contacts within corporate clients, event planners, and travel agencies.

 4. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

 5. Ability to understand client needs and provide innovative solutions. 

6. Strategic thinker with the ability to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities.

 7. Self-motivated and results-driven with a passion for exceeding sales targets. 

8. Willingness to travel as needed.

 9. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
