Internship Description

As a Asst. Business Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving the growth and expansion of Sabjikothi's market presence. Your primary responsibility will be to forge strategic partnerships, engage with key stakeholders, and explore new avenues for business development. Your duties will include:

1. Partnership Development: Collaborate with NGOs, foundations, CSR organizations, self-help groups, farmer cooperatives, and FPOs to facilitate the deployment of Sabjikothi in rural and urban communities.

2. Government Liaison: Build relationships with government departments and agencies, advocating for Sabjikothi as a sustainable solution. Pitch the product for subsidies, grants, and inclusion in government schemes aimed at promoting agriculture and food security.

3. Scheme Inclusion: Work closely with government counterparts to ensure Sabjikothi's inclusion in various schemes and programs targeting agricultural development and modernization. Complete all formalities and paperwork required for scheme participation.

4. Community Engagement: Collaborate with street hawkers' associations, fruits and vegetable shop vendors, and other relevant stakeholders to promote Sabjikothi's adoption and usage. Organize awareness campaigns and training sessions to educate potential users about the benefits of the product.

5. Market Expansion: Identify opportunities to pitch Sabjikothi for the export market. Develop strategies to penetrate international markets, establish distribution channels, and navigate regulatory requirements to facilitate product exports.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Agriculture, Marketing, or related field (Master's degree preferred) with minimum experience of 2 years.
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or partnership management, preferably in the agriculture sector
- Strong network and connections within the agriculture industry, government agencies, NGOs, and other relevant stakeholders
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
- Willingness to travel extensively as needed
